Review our Vision, Mission, and Core Values. We aim to create schools that stand as the pride of our community and prepare every Vallejo student for a bright, fulfilling future.
Vallejo City Unified’s Strategic Plan focuses on four pillars: Student Success, Community Engagement, Safe and Supportive Environments, and Effective Operations. Guided by equity and collaboration, we aim to build vibrant schools that inspire and support every student’s journey.
The Portrait of a Graduate project defines the key skills and knowledge Vallejo City Unified students need for success after high school.

It is the student's responsibility to arrive at class on time. "On time" means being seated before the second bell rings. Students may not "check-in" to class and then wander the campus or visit another classroom. All students are expected to comply with attendance policies to ensure academic success and fulfillment of graduation requirements.
Each teacher will receive a laminated hall pass labeled with their name and room number. Only one student at a time may use the hall pass.
Important information and the purpose of each lesson are presented at the start of class, so we want to protect your time for learning. Restroom passes will not be issued during the first 15 minutes or the last 10 minutes of class. During these times, restrooms will be cleared and locked to prevent students from “hiding out” and to encourage timely attendance.
Review our policy on make-up work for students with excused and unexcused absences. Students will have the opportunity to complete missed assignments and tests to ensure academic progress.
