Graduating student waves to the crowd

Vallejo High School's graduation ceremony will take place Thursday, June 12, 1:30 p.m. at Corbus Field.

We recognize that this is a special day for you and your student. In preparation for these ceremonies, Vallejo City Unified School District wants to ensure our senior families have the most accurate and up-to-date information. Knowing the importance of this event and that some family members may be unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be live-streamed on the VCUSD Communications YouTube page.

College and Career Readiness

Below, you'll find information and resources to help students prepare for college, explore career interests, and access financial aid resources.

College Entrance Requirements

If students intend to enroll in a UC (University of California) or a CSU (California State University) upon graduation from High School then it is essential to understand the requirements that need to be met.

For most 2 year colleges and other post-high school pathways, meeting the 220 credits required by VCUSD for a VCUSD High School Diploma should be enough for students to meet the entrance requirements. However, for a University of California (UC) or a California State University (CSU) there are additional requirements that must be met. Please review the link below. Please note that ALL courses must be passed with a “C” grade or better if they are going to count for UC or CSU admission.
