Career Academies and Pathways
A Career Technical Education (CTE) pathway are course programs that provide students with the academic, technical, and real world knowledge, skills and experience they need to be prepared for a variety of career options.
Industry Sector: Public Services
Jesse Bethel High School offers courses in the Public Services sector in The Law Pathway. These courses provide students the opportunity to explore and develop skills that prepare them for jobs in law and public service.
Industry Sector: Arts, Media, and Entertainment
The arts, media, and entertainment industry sector offers jobs that require a vast range of creative and technical knowledge and skills. Jesse Bethel High School offers the Multimedia Academy as well as other arts, media and entertainment courses.
Industry: Building and Construction Trades
This sector provides a foundation for the Building and Construction Trades industry for secondary students in California. Students engage in an instructional program that integrates academic and technical preparation and focuses on career awareness, career exploration, and skill preparation. This pathway emphasizes processes, systems, and how structures are built.
Industry Sector: Engineering and Architecture
Vallejo High School’s Engineering Pathway offers a series of courses for students interested in engineering, electronics, computers, and robotics.
